Mr. Murphy specializes as the firm’s legal writer and researcher, and he handles our complex immigration, family law, and criminal cases. He has more than forty years of experience in the areas of bankruptcy, collections, foreclosures, and commercial law, in addition to his immigration experience. He currently concentrates his practice in the evaluation of the immigration consequences of a criminal conviction and immigration appellate work. He is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and is a cum laude graduate of Indiana University’s School of Law-Indianapolis. He speaks Spanish and German and has a reading knowledge of the Russian and French languages. He has been the author of numerous briefs that have prevailed in the federal courts. He is also a former two-day winner on the nationally syndicated television game show “Jeopardy”.
